The Ba Women’s Forum History
In the late 2010 our current Chairman Board of Trustee Dr Maria Doton proposed to setup a school for Women in Ba , this idea was accomplished by creating awareness through visitation to all the Women’s groups with the assistance and support of the Ba town council and the late Marama Tui Ba Adi Laite Koto Koroirua.In August 2011, the Women’s Forum was established and in August 2012 was registered as the umbrella organization for women in Ba under the Ministry for Women ,Children and Poverty Alleviation .
This Training Centre was officially inaugurated by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Fiji, Hon Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama on the 15th of February, 2018.

To create a community of women living in dignity through their empowerment, self-reliance, economic stability and success.

To empower the women of Ba through skills and personality training
Our Objectives
- To provide opportunities for women to learn and educate themselves
- To uplift the standard of living of women and alleviate their status
- To create awareness of justice and equality and to work for human rights
- To maintain the dignity of women and make them an integral part of society.
