Executive Summary

Ba women’s forum have initiated the building of a training centre for the purpose of empowering women in Fiji. Women are taught different skills , trained in production of useful products , run a small business, manage their household be productive and self-reliant. The objective of the BWF are:

• To provide opportunities for women to learnand educate them selves
• To uplift the standard of living of women and alleviate their status
• To create awareness of justice and equality and to work for human rights
• To maintain the dignity of women and make them integral part of society.

There were more than 1000 women whom graduated from the training centre since its opening.

Achievements: Graduates have started their own business, some found a stable job, and the centre has created awareness on what women can do to improve their statues.

INTRODUCTION This report is intended to show the picture of Ba women’s forums way of meeting ots objective and goals, its logistics in running the programs training and courses for the empowerment of women who benefit from the these program. It shows the achievements and recipient of the grant received from the government and how it has made a big change in some of these beneficiaries.

PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT

1. EXECUTIVE BOBY AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES laydown the programs to be undertaken.
2. ADMINISTRATOR (GINA EVANGELISTA)

She organizes the schedules of programs, check the syllabus of each training, orient the trainers, and does the report to the executives and BOT. She manages the training every day and monitors the trainers on the implementation of syllabus, she records the accomplishments and allowances of each trainees and trainers according to their productivity.
